Recognized scientific authority in the field of social and cross-cultural psychology. One of her monograph describes cross-cultural studies carried out on over fifteen thousand people from 60 countries around the world. She was the initiator of the established scientific cooperation between University of Gdansk and the Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences and the Vietnamese National University – University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Hanoi and Saigon. She published three scientific monographs (one Teofrast nomination) and over 30 original scientific articles, in prestigious journals from the JCR list (e.g. Frontiers in Psychology, PlosOne, Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology, International Journal of Psychology, Journal of Personality and Individual Differences, Journal of Happiness Studies, European Journal of Psychological Assessment, Journal of Clinical Psychology, Journal ox Sex Research). She also popularizes knowledge by writing articles in the popular-science press and during media presentations. She delivered over 50 papers at domestic and international conferences. She was a three-time scholarship holder of the Polish Ministry of Science and Education, was awarded a bronze medal of the President of the Republic of Poland (2016) and nominated for an individual scientific award of the Rector of the University of Gdańsk (2019), managed five scientific projects founded by University of Gdansk, one Polish National Center of Science and participated in project of National Centre for Research and Development, Poland: Development Program of the University of Gdańsk (ProUG) and NAWA Exchange Program for Students and Researchers: Bilateral Cooperation in Vietnam (2019). She regularly reviews in foreign journals, is a member of the International Association of Cross-Cultural Psychology IACCP, works with numerous academic centers and publishes articles with scientists from all over the world.
