Małgorzata Lipowska, associate professor in psychology. Deputy Dean of Research of the Faculty of Social Sciences at University of Gdansk in Poland, Head of the Division of Cross-Cultural and Gender Psychology. From 2009 licensed as a clinical psychologist by the Minister of Health, since 2014 also a Provincial Consultant for Clinical Psychology in Pomerania Voivodeship on behalf of the Minister of Health. Director & Lecturer of the post-graduate programs in Start for Ph.D in Social Sciences, Early Support, Education and Therapy for Children and Youth with Developmental Disorders and Applied Behavior Analysis: teaching children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the University of Gdansk. Her research interest focus on Clinical Child Psychology and Body Image from developmental and clinical perspective.
She has an enormous network of contacts with practitioners and scientists worldwide while being an active member of several national & international research associations, she also actively cooperates with several institutions supporting development of children and youth.
For her contribution for improvement of therapy for children with developmental disorders she was awarded the medal of Virtuti Medicinali (2006), Copernicus Prize (2007) by Polish Neuropsychological Society, Bronze Medal of the President of the Republic of Poland (2008), Medal of Commission of National Education (2013), Scientific Award of Polish Dyslexia Association (2015) and Silver Cross of Merit of the President of the Republic of Poland (2016).
She participated actively in scientific meetings and conferences, reading plenary and session papers, and displaying posters at 61 international and 105 national conferences and she has published 4 monographs, 93 articles in specialized scientific journals and have contributed 19 book chapters.
